Ayoub Mansar, a PhD pupil in Arithmetic at École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay is visiting the Basic Arithmetic Group (Group B) this week (8 February to 16 February). Ayoub is a third-year PhD pupil supervised at ENS by Prof Frédéric Dias. His PhD venture is on the idea and numerical simulation of breaking water waves and is supported by the ERC grant HIGHWAVE (hyperlink right here). His hosts at Surrey are Tom Bridges and Matt Turner.
