Congratulations to Roberto D’Onofrio for passing his PhD viva at present (Wednesday 14 February)!  The Exterior Examiners have been John Gibbon (Imperial Faculty London) and Raffaele Vitolo (Universita del Salento). The title of his thesis is “Singularities in fluid dynamics: from the classical strategy to Monge-Ampere geometry” and he was supervised by Giovanni Ortenzi (Milano-Bicocca), Ian Roulstone (Surrey, major supervisor), and Tom Bridges (Surrey, second supervisor).
